| The TALK.ORIGINS ARCHIVE is a collection of articles and essays that explore the creationism/evolution controversy from a mainstream scientific perspective. In other words, the authors of most of the articles in this archive accept the prevailing scientific view that the earth is ancient, that there was no global flood, and that evolution is responsible for the earth's present biodiversity. There is an archive search engine provided and a terrific, quick-access FAQ page to get you started.

| Started in 1997, THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE is a cable-access, live on the web, call-in TV show created by the Atheist Community of Austin, Texas. The show airs most every Sunday afternoon and all past episodes are on the web as well. THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE is an insightful and educational program aimed at informing the public about issues between belief and non-belief. If you're curious what the confrontation between educated and non-educated opinions on religion looks like- this is for you! I don't always agree with the opinions of the hosts, but I pretty nearly always do. Call-in and in-person guests of the show have included Richard Dawkins, P.Z. Myers, Aron Ra and even Ray Comfort. The show has also launched the career of Matt Dillahunty, one of the shows long serving hosts, who has entered the lecture and debate circuits as a sought after educator and counter-apologist.

| AMERICAN ATHEISTS is the flagship atheist organization in the U.S.A. Founded by Madalyn Murray O'Hair in 1963, AMERICAN ATHEISTS have blazed a trail for all other secular and non-theistic groups in America. O'Hair was the first public figure in the establishment of a "pushback" against ever-encroaching theistic values in politics, governance and civil liberties. Although I am not always a big fan of the group and its campaigns, I gratefully acknowledge the role they have played in providing a public platform for non-belief in my society.
